TRACK 3: Introduction to Integral Theory • 9-month program |
Integral Theory: Unifying Perspectives, Illuminating Consciousness, and Embracing Wholeness
Integral Theory is a meta-theory formulated by Ken Wilber that attempts to integrate all human wisdom into a new, emergent worldview. It can accommodate the perspectives of all previous worldviews, including those that may appear to contradict one another.
- At its core, Integral Theory invites us to transcend conventional boundaries and embrace a comprehensive approach that integrates diverse perspectives, disciplines, and dimensions of existence.
- Unlike traditional models that often fragment knowledge into isolated disciplines, Integral Theory aspires to unify the wisdom of science, spirituality, psychology, philosophy, and more.
- Integral Theory recognizes that each domain offers a unique lens through which we can apprehend reality, and by weaving these insights together, a more complete picture emerges.
- This holistic perspective acknowledges that understanding consciousness and reality requires not only introspection and self-awareness but also an awareness of the systems, structures, and contexts that shape our existence.
